There should be 8 clashes

the only clashes in the bottom row are in cols 4 & 10.

Oh dear.
I have 4 N-W clashes which I'm fairly confident about - and seven others.
Are the following correct: 13a EPHORATE, 7d MORON, 15d CAN DO, 31d NALLA ?

All incorrect I'm afraid...

last letter in 7D is a clasher as is the middle letter of 15D and the first of 31D.

Don't have the completed puzzle in front of me so don't remember the other 2. but if 1a is BLACKSWAN, 7d can't begin with M.

Clashes can only involve N and W

I can understand why one of the letters needs to be turned through 180 degrees - but why the other?
