Bonnybridge sounds good.
According to Anne Bradford's dictionary,
bonny = happy; and bridge is of course a crossing.
Bonnybridge is a small town in the Falkirk area of Scotland.
Thanks for your replies but if the answer is Bonnybridge then it's a poor clue. One other I missed was: Demand payment for a debt. Again the answer is a Scottish town or villiage. No letters I'm afraid.
