Help with any of the following would be gratefully received.

I have no idea what "rond" means (possibly a spelling mistake) and the answer could be ALOE or SLOE, but neither makes sense.

7D Found before chute one relies on when stepping out (4) ?A?A

If it helps, a "chute" in Scotland can be a childrens' slide.

18D Actual end is in the answer (8) R?B?T???

I think it's REBUTTAL but I could be wrong.

28A Order alters snakes order (4) ??B?

The penultimate letter of 18D is the first letter of this answer, so if REBUTTAL is correct then this will be A?B?

28 ASBO - rearrange Boas

7 Para(Chute)

4 Aloe

(A)side (L- left), round (O) direction (E - East) for the plant

Thanks all, those all look good. Can anyone explain why the answer to this clue is ELEGY? I see "L" as 50 but I don't see where "delight" or "150" fits!

Answer is: ELEGY
Another word for delight is GLEE
+ in 150 (or in one fifty) means one of the letters of the word FIFTY. So if you add the letter Y to GLEE it becomes an anagram of ELEGY

i can't do any better than jct59 but is that really how it works?

I had thought of 'glee' of course - totally missed 'y'in 50 or 150.

But a dreadful clue.
