Thamk you for last weeks help . I have struggled with this week's offering and once again I would like some cofirmation and reasons for some of my answers. I think I have sorted out the anomalies but i need help to answer two clues: 5 down and 15 across. Could you also confirm my answers of Dowl for 43 across and Juno for 24 across. I have no idea how the clues give these answers but what else could they be ? Thank you very much in advance.

5. Log-reel, ogre + e (can't remember exactly how this is achieved as I've only got my notes no longer the grid so I'm guessing it should be obvious) within 2 Ls
15. Log + (jos)e
43. I have doll an anagram of L(imp) + old
24. Yes, Juno. Un in Jo.
