D is the end of tipped and AFT is behind. Glad I came up with up just before I saw andy's post.

I take it you now have BUCKS for 20d? I only ask because you were suggesting the sixth letter of 25a might have been N.

Tipped (endwise) gives the D at the end of Tipped+Aft,behind. D aft.
