Struggling with very last one, should be straight forward but I can't see it.
18D. Plain, small, very quite place to drive hosts. S*E*P*
Suppose it might be steppe (pp very quite) but still not seeing it.

s for small
tee place to drive in golf
pp very quiet

steppe= plain(def)
s- small - tee - place to drive(golf ball)
pp- very quiet

Maybe?
