BBM2 #22

I think you'd have a chance to get the answer if you'd never heard the word, even without crossers

Ok folks, a difficult one tonight with all five contenders having their own great qualities to be a winner.

chiaroscuro's post 21 spin on current affairs was well thought out. BBM's post 22 excellent urge of the plural around 'psi' & 'mu'. Paul's post 17 anagram with very non-PC def made me smile (you just so wouldn't get away with that nowadays). Mattrom's post 16 was a 'penny-drop' moment for me with superb esoteric double def.
However, I feel that BBM's post 10 with it's smooth flowing surface read and most fitting definition is the winner this week.

Well done Marty,
Here is your prize, a tad more serious than my usual offerings, I particularly like this guy's spin on education being a birthright rather than a charity. It kinda challenges old style thinking which is the closest thing I could muster to do with mumpsimus.

Thanks to all other entries.
