Mind was bogged down from other clues.
Not a crossword I enjoy that much these days.
Might be time to stop purchasing the express as it is not much fun anymore. But in saying that. I see others complaining about obscure clues and new setters.
I really don't have the time to challange the DM anymore as you need to peruse the dictionary all the time for some obscure words.
I want a fun filled cryptic I can do in my half hour lunch break using my knowledge. Not a book or the Internet.

Just the others had addled my brain.
