I still have a handful to do, predictably SE corner. Also 3 dn/9ac. Is the crosser a 2?

I don't get 27 ac at all. I can see what I think it should be but the double letter is in the wrong place.

9A - count, as in adding. 2 wds. You have the first letter of the second word. Only one option for the 2nd.
Think of a call used for fox hunting. Same number of letters (5,2)
Change the second word.

27A - I know you have an excellent knowledge of British history. Two of Henry's wives (reversed) ?
The double letter is between the bars.
