3d. Former lover's unemotional, caught leaving insulting message. O?D ?L?ME. I think it is OLD FLAME. Unemotional is cold, take away c for cold gives OLD but what has FLAME to do with insulting message?

Chambers gives "flame" as an insulting message or email.
