Pigale, I am right out of French keyboards!
I bought a Tesco Hudl 2 tablet and it is easy on that.
Hold the letter down and a wee window opens with all the variations on that letter. Choose the correct one and away you go!
Probably all the tablets are the same.
Regarding the French keyboard, I would imagine they are on sale on Amazon.
Amazon sells everything!

Just had a look myself and only saw some around 35 euros market
One seems good and is from ~Alienware, for 35.99 euros. Probably not too far of your £19, since the Pound is quite strong in comparison to the Euro at present.

But I have one already, it is more for you, if you are interested!
