Hi,
The answer to 5d - "Decorate with 20 points like a ringer"? is "embellish". "Bellish" = "like a ringer" but can someone please explain the parsing of "20 points" with "em"?

Points and ems are measurements in typography but I can't see where the 20 comes from.

It might have something to do with a clue if there is number 20 down or across.

I think an "em" is double the size of an "en".
Don't know about the twenty points though.

I have had a wee investigate.
In printing/typography, 20 point can relate to the font size.
1 em in a 20 point typeface equals 20 points.
Embellish looks fine.

I had a look too and all I could find was

1 em in a 16 point type typeface is 16 points!

Yes, Rossim, it seemingly depends on the font size, as far as I can gather.
Bit too technical for me!
I'll leave it to the brainy folk!

Me too!
I'm sure embellish is correct though.

This is explained in the earlier RT23 thread.
The setter appears to have made an error and em is actually 12 points
