I finished this the other day but hadn't spotted the top and bottom rows. That makes an already excellent puzzle even better!

I have only just tackled this crossword because I had forgotten to look for it. But what a superb crossword. Even the answers to 4d and 5d, and the clue 16a tie in with the theme!

This puzzle is very clever even if the theme is pretty easy to spot early on. I am still stuck on 6 down - I have TR?I? O?L.

Can't think of anything for the 5 letter word that goes with the 3 letter word (which I have).

Any clues?
