Hello, Doglet!
It was the same with Macbeth.
He was not the monster that Shakespeare portrayed him to be.
He was a good and fair king.

Rusty, there is no such word as 'sitdownability'!
This is a really good historical film - just endorsed by Doglet and I remember Jazzgirl agreeing with me on that when we mentioned it previously!
You could try watching it in instalments? - there is a way around everything! but of course , your choice......
Yes, I shall probably watch it again.
I've installed All - in -One-Toolbox. It informed me that I had a lot of rubbish !

P.S. By saying there is no such word as 'sitdownability' , I meant it in the same sense that one says there is no such word as 'can't'! ie you can do anything you have a mind to do!

No "sitdownability"? Are you sure?
Well, I have just coined it!
Spenser has Chambers full of words that he made up. Probably because he could not spell very well!
Elle, I would not last five minutes at any film, with the possible exception of "The Quiet Man".
All-In-One seems to be good?

Rusty, I know why you can watch "The Quiet Man" - it's because Maureen O'Hara is in it!!!!!!!
Amazing what you can do when it's your favourite woman!
BTW, how was that biography ( autobiography? I forget which) about her? Did you enjoy it?

No, no, Jazzgirl!
The matter is in hand! Just a 10 minute drive...so it is.
I am just watching the British Amateur Golf Championship at Carnoustie on TV...so I am.
It is a pleasure to see a proper golf course compared to that monstrosity at Chambers Bay.
And some fine players!

Yes, Maureen O'Hara!
Same age as my Mother.
Her book was "Tis Herself" or something like that.
Was very good!

Carnoustie is just down the road a few miles from me.
So I was scanning the galleries to see who I knew!

Those friends of mine that live near you, in Invergowrie, are expert golfers, I believe . They travel all over the world to play in high falutin' competitions!
