Hi, Rusty!
It sounds as though the two individuals resolved the dispute satisfactorily between themselves....
But I don't know the protocol involved in such a situation?
Maybe the powers-that-be had no choice but to act?
But if you think throwing them out of the race was unjustified , then maybe an appeal will go in their favour.......
Let us hope so.
Both episodes of "Casualty" have now been watched ....and I am up- to -date!
It is so hot ......
Is it too late for an ice-cream , do you think?

What are you saying , Chris? that the results are "rigged"?
Could that be a possibility?
I do not know enough about the Tour to be able to comment...…?

Hello, Elle!
Yes, it was resolved, no harm done.
Rowe and Martin have just done a joint interview apologising for what happened.
I agree something had to be done.
They have both been heavily fined, too.
But, I think they should stay in the race and so does most folk.
Both teams are weakened now.
I would not mind an ice cream!

Hi elle
Not "rigged" as such. There have been some surprising performances. I'm reminded of Floyd Landis - you could Google him!

Goodness Chris! I sure hope you are wrong!
but who really knows - Surely tests are being done at the end of
every stage, and they are probably more strict than ever before?

Good morning, Elle!
I feel the heat already!
Going to be warm again today!
Did you get your ice cream?
All going well in Orlando!
Received a dozen photos from the girls, by WhatsApp last night!
I have a couple of little tasks to do this morning, then settle down for the Tour in the Alps!
Looking forward to it.
Not heard any more about Martin and Rowe appeal.

I looked up the person you suggested, rusty. The interview I found finished with him saying "Nothing changes in cycling" or words to that effect.

Those who want to cheat will always have new ways of doing so. I read that one way is to change your DNA (via a virus and injected through a tattoo). This is (possibly) undetectable and irreversible. There are ways of confusing testosterone tests, as well. They have to live with themselves afterwards.

Good morning, Rosalind.
Your remarks are addressed to the wrong person.
I did not suggest anything.

Good morning, Rusty!
It is unbearably hot (for me) here....
It is already 30C, and supposed to hit 38 by 4pm.
I did not enjoy my morning walk!
The dog was her usual effervescent self, and was happily running around, whereas I followed wearily after her, dragging one foot behind the other!
We only covered about two miles...... a very short walk.
I am home now for the day...... and do not intend to stir beyond the garden!
You will have been delighted to hear from the girls and to look at their photos.....
I am glad that they are enjoying themselves!
I hope your jobs do not take up too much of your time.......and you can sit and relax and enjoy the cycling in the Alps!

Hello, Elle!
It is 23C here and I find that too hot!
I had a shortish walk earlier and finished my tasks.
Just have a quick visit to a pub later and my wee jobs are complete, for the day.
Yes, I get photos sent to me from family and friends who follow the girls on FaceBook.
They know I am not on FaceBook, you see.
Yes, the race has started, beautiful weather and lovely scenery in France.
Unfortunately, Luke Rowe and Tony Martin have not been allowed to start.
So, Team Ineos and Jumbo-Visna have weakened teams going into the Alps.
But, "rules is rules", I suppose!
