Good morning, Rusty!
My word, you were up early!
It is an overcast and very hot and humid morning here as yet......although we are promised sunshine.......
I am hoping that it will stay dry in Wimbledon!
Yes, the tennis yesterday was postponed because of the heavy rain there !
And at such a crucial stage in the Wawrinka v. Fabbiano match , too!
You may well have a point about the leak, Rusty!
Who pays?
I did raise the issue with a Thames Water official back in May, it having taken them four months to come repair the leak!
I was assured by said TW agent that once a leak was reported, the customer did not have to meet the extra water bill from that time onwards until the leak was repaired.
But hey, who's counting and how is one lot of "missing" water distinguished from another?
It could well be that this extra ( four months' leakage) cost was incorporated in our "comparative metered" bill !
That would certainly account for the "extra" costing.
Fortunately, at this stage we do not have to pay it.......
But I shall raise the point again with TW.
You are away out to the Pine Cone this morning, aren't you?
What time is Miss O picking you up?

Hello, JG!
We already had most of those water saving aids in place long before any TW reps came around offering their "freebies".
A lot are built into our devices.

But for any one wanting to try them out , follow Jazzgirl's link.

I just hope it works!

Good morning, Elle!
Yes, I was to the fore early today.
Not as early as Malone though!
Great day here again.
Now, why was tennis postponed for rain if they have a roof?
The "leakage" would make me query the TW bill, though?
Miss O (up to now!) is collecting me at 11.
Quick visit to Currys, then on to Pine Cone.
I am not replacing my Chromebook today.
Just having a nosey.
Thanks for the Scottish Water link.
I see they were on about "dreich" weather.
You won't see that in the Thames Water advert!
My water comes from Lintrathen Loch, not sure if that is Scottish Water or not.

Hi, Rusty!
There is only one roof so far in action at Wimbledon!
It could well be that none of the matches that were postponed, due to the rain, were being played on Centre Court?
I have just checked out Wawrinka's " to be resumed" match - it is on second on Court 3 after 11.30 am
I shall watch that!
I hope you find a suitable appliance at Curry's to replace your damaged Chromebook!
Even if you are only window-shopping and getting ideas today.....it will be good to have something in mind!
Enjoy your outing!

Good afternoon, Elle!
We did not go to Curry's, always another day!
Had a nice time there!
There was a large group of "ladies who lunch" there!
About 15 of them!
Just watching a bit of the golf from Ballyliffin.
A fine course, set in lovely Inishowen!
So, I won't see much tennis today.
And the Diamond League from Lausanne is on later.
Laura and Eilish are taking part.

Hello, Jazzgirl!
I put the Tower of London post code into your link, but Thames Water did not like that either!
I give up!
