Hello, Pigale!
Yes, I looked in to the forum and got a warm "welcome back" from Malone!
I am not fully "okay", but "coping"!
Very nice to hear from you, Pigale!

Good morning, Rusty!
May I echo Pigale's sentiments, Rusty, and say it is very good indeed to see you back on the forum...and on the PCT!
I am sorry to hear that things are still not all that good at your end....but hope they will continue to improve.
And I owe you an apology on here...because I had initially taken your word at face value that you were just "busy" - and replied somewhat light-heartedly and even facetiously.
I am sorry for that - I was not being insensitive .......just mistaken.
But it is really good that you are back......!

(Pigale and Malone were very eagle -eyed.....I had missed your very welcome reappearance!)

Good morning, Elle!
Thank you for your kind sentiments!
No apology needed, Elle, I may have been a bit mysterious, but
things are OK with me.
I did have health concerns but test results etc (I have been well investigated!) show nothing concerning, or sinister, so...on we go!
Not much gets past Malone or Pigale!
Another lovely morning here!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, it is a lovely morning here, too!
A "bit mysterious" doesn't really cut it, Rusty!
And by the time I realised that I had misread the situation, it was too late to extricate my size threes!
However, that is behind us......and the main thing is that you are okay....or getting there......and that all the tests/ investigations etc are clear.
I am so glad!
Are you planning to watch Novak at Queens?
Or are you a World Cup supporter?

Hello, Elle!
I'll tell you a wee story and then will not mention my health again.
I had to go for a CT scan to a hospital about 35 miles away!
The lad who did it was a very friendly chatty young man.
I expressed surprise that the scan would only take 3 minutes.
(It's one of the very newest machines)
He was very proud of his CT machine and told me that the machine and its forerunners were developed and funded from the money that EMI made from the Beatles hits.
You may well know of this, with your background, Elle, but it was news to me!
So well done the Beatles and EMI, says me!
I have seen bits of the World Cup but am not a fan, at all.
I can't stand the constant cheating, play acting, and snarling at the referee.
Though I shall look into the England v Panama game when I come home.
Never knew Panama had a football team!

Hi, Rusty!
Thank you for sharing your experience........I promise you we shall not mention your health again.....
But maybe if there are any future "problems" - though God forbid that there will be - you could be a bit more upfront and save a lot of worry?
I always think it is better to 'know' than to have to 'speculate' .......
I hadn't heard of a new fast CT scan - sounds wonderful!
35 miles is a long way to go!
And yes, well done EMI and the Beatles!
(I like the Beatles!)
My son-in -law and BB are glued to the football.
I shall be watching tennis! (for the next three weeks!)
Are you meeting the girls this morning?

Hello, Elle!
The hospital is just outside Brechin.
(Brechin has a football team. They did not win a league game last season, must be some sort of record!)
It was built for the war wounded in 1939.
The leaflet i got said the scan would take 20 minutes.
So 3 minutes was quite a big surprise!
Apparently it is the very latest scanner.
I am being collected at 11 for the Pine Cone.
Was there yesterday, too!

Hi, Rusty!
Now I have heard of Brechin......
Not because of its football team though!
Does Brechin have a cathedral?
That may be why.......?
You are doing well - two visits to the Pine Cone in the same weekend!
We are waiting on daughter and the boys arriving ……..
Then a quick walk in the park with the dog before the Queens tennis Final starts at 2 pm!
I have my fingers crossed for Novak......but Marin Cilic is a very good player....
It should be an excellent match!
Enjoy your outing with the girl(s)!
One granddaughter or more?

Hello Elle, Ros and Rusty!

Nice to hear from you Rusty and welcome back to the PCT! Great
to have you back and glad you are doing OK.

Elle, you mentioned a French tennis player the other day (who got
beaten by Marin Cilic) and I did not even know we had good tennis
players at the moment! Are there many of them?
With Wimbledon coming up soon, you will get 'square eyes' -
Careful the migraine....

I hope both Ros and yourselves (Rusty and you) will have great
quality time with your respective families!

Thanks pigale. Turns out they are coming for lunch so just been to Tesco to stock up on doughballs, chorizo, lemonade, sushi and cheese! Shall pick raspberries and strawberries from the garden. Could hardly get in or out of the carpark- everyone must have decided to have a BBQ.
My granddaughter specially asked to come here so feeling very happy. Nothing to do with doughballs, choc drops and lemonade, naturally!
Have a nice day yourself pigale
