Hi, Rusty!
Now........actually, no, I don't think you should watch the Final of "The Voice" next week...!
Wait until the beginning of the next series and watch from the beginning.
Otherwise, you are missing the very point of the show!
The contestants are initially chosen purely for........ their "Voice"....
In Round One at the very beginning.....
The four judges sit in chairs turned away from the singers....they .have their backs to them whilst they are singing.
The judges only "turn" individually, if they like the "Voice" - they have no idea what the contestant looks like.
The contestant then chooses a "coach" from those who turn for him/her.
Then the show goes on through the varying stages,
Battle rounds ...live performances....Semi-final..... the Final......
If you watch next week's Final, all you will see is a standardly presented competition in its final stage. .....
So please, give the show a proper chance and see if from its original beginnings next time?
How will you fit in your bike race in the morning with your visit to the Pine Cone?
Can you record the cycling?
And golf later......
Yes, a very busy day for you!

Hello, Pigale!
It is damp here and becoming chilly.
I hope we don't have yet more rain tomorrow.
We shall go out walking regardless, although I think the plan is to have a leisurely start to the day and go out about lunchtime.
I'm happy with that...I can get an early start on my crosswords!

Hi Rusty!

Just checked - last French winner of tour de Flandres was jacky
Durand in 1992! I don't think it will rain, but I don't think either
the riders will be too hot!
I'll support Sagan too, if he does not send anyone flying...... er, in the
heat of the action of course!

It is only 4C here now, which is dismal for end March!

Did you see the latest tweat about Lassie and Laddie? The rangers
reckon that if the 'lovers' attempts have been successful, we could
have some eggs by the end of next week!

Hello, Pigale!
I remember Jacky's win.
He did a solo breakaway of around 200 kilometers to win.
A great achievement!
I love Sagan!
He is one tough cookie!
Yes, I read about the eggs next week.
Exciting stuff!

Hello, Elle!
Right, I'll give the show a miss next week!
The bike race is 265 kilometers long, around 165 miles, so it is on from after 9 o'clock untii just after 4 o'clock, live on Eurosport.
A long hard day in the saddle.
I am going out at 11 and will be back around 12, so I won't miss much of the race.
The golf is in the evening.
Two young English girls going well in it.
Charley Hull and Jodi Ewart Shadoff.
I do not know much about Jodi, but I like Charley.
I will have sore eyes by bedtime, watching the television!

Good morning, Rusty!
Happy Easter!
It seems strange today to have a row of Easter eggs and no small children here to receive them.......
But they will all be here within a few days!
I am glad that you have decided to wait until the commencement of the next showing of "The Voice" before watching.
I think it's a great show.......and I should like you to see it from the beginning and get the full impression, and the hang of what it is all about!
And you may not have to wait all that long.... I think there is a "The Voice: Kids" coming up this Summer.......and that works on mainly the same principle.
I shall tell you if I learn any more details!
Your cycling race will be starting soon.......and then you will be away out with your granddaughters!
A hectic but enjoyable day ahead of you!

Happy Easter, Elle!
I was really wondering if the folk on The Voice were proper singers and not "manufactured" singers?
If it is only "pop" singers I would have little interest in them.
The weather is beautiful here today.
We were threatened with snow, too!
Yes, a good day ahead.
I am ready for the girls, and have made valiant efforts to look fairly kempt.
I shall await their verdict!

Hi, Rusty!
"The Voice:UK" has singers of different musical genres.
Going through to the Final next Saturday are two girls who sing opera
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ev8YOX5q360I
It is an unusual show.......and as I have said before, I enjoy the special rapport between the coaches.
You will be able to see samples on YouTube of the various acts, but I think it more fun to watch the show from its initial stages, when there are the "Blind" auditions .
I am sure you scrub up nicely, Rusty !

Hello, Elle!
These girls are "sooper!".
Now, that's proper singing, for me!
Very impressive.
Not what I imagined the show to be like at all, at all!
I shall be in touch later, a bit busy today!
