I have found this, Elle , for you to peruse, but I am away with the dogs who are both eager to have a run in the fields.

Hello, Elle!
A cow's lick!
Now, as someone who does not see the point of poetry, I am afraid I can be of little help in your search for Pippa Passes.
But, I would suggest you give it a spin on Amazon.
They will have it for sure!
I may have told you, but I pay for my Mon to Sat copy of The Times by direct debit.
It is much cheaper that way.
There are various perks added to it.
One is free membership of The Times Crossword Club.
Plenty of puzzles there and competitions etc.
(They want a clue for "weather forecast" this week.)
And Mr Rogan's top 5 clues of the week.
I very rarely go into the Crossword Club.
The daily puzzle is plenty for me.
No, nothing to do with Ash.

Hi, Rusty!
Amazon sounds a good idea, Rusty!
I wonder I didn't think of it.... I shall take a look later.
I may be able to pick up a cheap copy.
Cerasus did kindly send a link, but it looks "dry and dusty" so to speak........it would take a "stronger man (woman ) than I" to plough through all that!
But I'll not get caught in a quotation about "You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din" or whatever........or I shall get it all wrong , quote out of context and tie myself in knots all over again!
I liked The Everyman!
I understand about the Crossword Club.
I was just confused by the advent of Ash's new venture!
I am away out for a walk now, to clear my ( very muddled) head!

Thank you , Cerasus - very kind, but I fear it looks a tad above my head!

Hello, Elle!
If you had a Kindle you could get it free from Amazon.
The paste you posted looks very amateurishly done?
Spacing is suspect, or is that fine for poetry?
Now, yesterday I mentioned that the top solver in the Crossword Club posts, or, posted, on here.
My understanding is she may have changed her name.
And I do not know if she posts on here anymore.
So, I shall leave her in anonymity.
I had a look in Ash's puzzles, but not for me.

My congratulations to whoever has been listed as top solver.
On another forum there is one "female" who has won many spectator, mephisto, etc. and has mentioned that she is aka SDL on here ? Well done to her

Hi, Rusty!
My Goodness, we have snow!
It is only as yet lying thinly on the ground, but it is falling vigorously!
These alien "white bits" starting drifting across the car windscreen on our way home from the park............
We are now back indoors, imbibing steaming coffee and looking out on a white world!
Wow!
What are you up to at your end?

Hello, Cerasus!
I think the solver competition is judged on speed.
Fastest correct puzzle is first, etc.
Just like The Times Championship.
Yes, that's who it is!
But, I think elsewhere she has changed her "name".
Have not noticed her posting on here for a while?

Hello, Elle!
Lucky you with the snow!
Fine day here!
I have been painting a radiator, (it took about two minutes!)
An exciting life I lead!
