Thank you Rusty - You have enlightened me and enriched my tale knowledge -

I would like to see how bad his 'poems' were by reading at least one small one, if there are some to be found ! Did not see anything when I googled earlier.

Pigale, it is on our sports news here that Cavendish is blaming his team mate Mark Renshaw (Prince Harry) for getting beat. His manager, Patrick Lefevre, is furious with him, and rightly says he cost Tony Martin the yellow jersey.
The arrogant twerp says Cancellara should not be beating him in a sprint.
Superfast sprinting is not Cancellara's forte but he did not give up, as Cavendish did, and raced into yellow.

Pigale, one of his better known ones (God help us!) Is "The Silvery Tay"
You should be able to find it.

Laughing?
The man should have been shot!

If you cannot find it or any other of his "gems", Pigale, I could maybe post one.
My great concern would be that you may have nightmares?

Dear God, that's awful.
I think the one "Silvery Tay" is even worse than the bridge one.
How is it possible to have Mozart and McGonagall on the same thread?
Surely an affront to Nature!

Rusty, one thing you must know is that it is difficult for me to assess the quality of English poems - I am love French 'classical' poetry, when everything rhymes and when there is a 'song' about the poem.

It is another hurdle when learning a foreign language, the first one, to my mind, being understanding and acquiring the sense of humour. I now have no problem with this but it took me a little while before I got to the point of liking very much Billy Connely!
