Hello, Elle!
I purchased a cylinder model.
It cost £35, so a fair price, I think.
One of Miss La Bamba's "besties" works part-time at ASDA, so she is known there anyway.
Everywhere we go, know about the young ones.
I tell folk about them.
My ASDA is a smashing store, very friendly staff.
And I get all the stories from them, too.
Eurosport have been "hanging the cat", as we say up here, for ages!
The EuroSport Player folk are now proven to be utterly incompetent, Elle!
It is a pity they have no competitors or you could have jumped ship.
When is visiting today?

Rusty, I'm just going to "visit" right now!
Weekdays, the visiting hour is 5 to 6 pm.
Talk when I get back!

Good afternoon
rusty : The records appear to show Anne B had two daughters, both born in Barnet (6 miles north of Hampstead) G born 1957 and J 1958.
Barnet was in Middlesex then, but now a London Borough

Hello, Jazzgirl!
Thank you for the info!
That ties in with what she said.
She started her Dictionary in 1957 when she was pregnant.
And, I did not know that Barnet was now part of London!
She lives in North London, but where I do not know.
I know Spurs and Arsenal play in North London but not too much more!

It looks likely she may have had more children (born in Barnet) with the same surname B and having the same mother's maiden name) : (boy and girl) in 1960 and 1962 but cannot confirm

Hello, Jazzgirl,
It looks as if she keeps her private life, "private".
And rightly so.
There is almost nothing on the internet about her.

Yes rusty
I purposely haven't shown actual names.
I will leave her to her low profile.
I am trying to trace another "lost soul" and this one is proving as difficult as the last one (not listed in any online phone book) The person emigrated and I have the ship, but it will be hard work... enough from me for today.

Good luck with your search, Jazzgirl!
I told Elle about an author I really liked, who I first came across many years ago.
Her name was Lillian Beckwith.
She is dead now.
But she wrote a series of books about her life as a single woman living on Skye.
The books were very popular and had a lot of humour in them.
But on recent research, it appeared that what she wrote was simply not true.
This "single" woman had a husband living with her all the time, and he never got a mention in her books.
And she had children.
For thirty or more years I had thought of her as a spinster!
And then came the internet....!

rusty, that is similar to my last "lost" person. She had not told anyone of her divorce and had remarried and was not in phone book ! I had to think outside the box
