Hi, Rusty!
I am being a bit slow on the uptake with the Everyman today......
Still four to finish......
I shall fall back on the excuse of lack of sleep!
Now update on cat.......he has a bit of a temperature this morning......but w/e on-call vet saying he still might be able to go home this afternoon.
However, I have queried that perhaps we and cat should see our "ususal" vet tomorrow, before cat is discharged.
After all, the cat is really her patient.
So we have an appointment to see Karin (vet) tomorrow at 11o'clock.
Then she can assess the cat and discus her future "plan".
This sounds sensible?
Meanwhile, we shall "visit" this afternoon at 4pm.
I wonder what Maria will wear today????

jazzgirl, Yes, I could not do without my two full subscriptions! I tell myself most other hobbies are more expensive and then I look at the books I've also bought recently.....
Good for you and the NZ family. It's much harder finding long lost living relatives than than the Victoriansisn't it? (unless your name is Smith or Brown etc, of course) The family trees on the internet are a great help, though I haven't put mine on there. The NZ phone books are on line and I traced some of my family that way, though they weren't very interested.

For anyone who hasn't read it, "The Surgeon of Crowthorne" by Simon Winchester is a fascinating read concerning the Oxford English Dictionary (also murder and insanity, bearing in mind that place-name)

Ros, I do not pay any subscriptions ! The way I found my friend's sister was finally through the Maritime museum in Bluff as I knew that the husband had connections with the harbour master. The lady at the museum knew of him and all his many "activities" and so the problem was solved. Three of my "gedcoms" have been uploaded so far to the internet

Hello, Elle!
Your cat plan sounds sensible.
Be good for you to get the cat home!
I notice that Maria is not the last match on Arthur Ashe today.
Venus' match follows Maria's.
But at least they have not sent Maria to the "parking lot" to play.
She appeared to be up for that.
She was a bit "mouthy" to Caroline Wozniacki, I thought.
