Hello, Elle!
Your daughter will be glad to get home and sit down!
Yes, I knew about Victoria Station and half a museum.
I am watching the golf.
The American girls are playing well.
Angel Yin has driven a ball over 340 yards!
That is a long, long, way!
I am just heading out for a dander as it's a lovely evening.
I am very disappointed in the Loch rangers.
No blog for about 10 days or so.
Have any of the chicks left for Africa yet?
I would like to know!

Hi, Rusty!
How was your walk?
How far did you venture?
I have just taken a look at the Osprey site.......and there is ONE bird in the nest!
I do not know which one though?
But I am thinking from its size that it might well be Laddie?
I'm assuming he is still bigger than the two chicks?
There is no word on what is happening with them?
Are you back watching the golf again?
I have been washing my hair.......but must knuckle down now and see to dinner.....
It is Shepherd's Pie tonight.

Hello, Elle!
I only went to ASDA for an ice cream.
Yes, the Americans have a comfortable lead, so far.
I have been tuned into the golf most of the day.
The chicks will be as big as Laddie.
I do not see the point of a web cam if they won't tell the lookers in, what is happening?
Lucky you with Shepherds Pie.
I had maple pancakes.
Was very nice!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, I like Shepherd's Pie - especially with mushy peas!
We always have our main meal in the evening.
Lunch is usually only a light snack......if that!
Personally, I am happy with just breakfast and dinner.
I shall be back to normal now that the family has gone home...........taking the dog out early in the morning.
I like the early walks - it is my favourite time of the day!
And will fit in nicely tomorrow as the Athletics start at 1 o'clock on BBC 2 , changing over to BBC1 later in the afternoon.
Time to fit in the Everyman Crossword in between morning walk and the Athletics!
A good day!

Hello, Elle!
Yes, you will be back in your routine, now.
I don't think the Everyman will take you very long!
I am on YouTube watching some of my favourites.
Amira, and Linda Ronstadt, and Emmylou etc.
Very pleasant!

Good morning, Rusty!
It was beautiful out in the park early this morning!
There was no one about save a few dog walkers and the place looked pristine at that hour.
My favourite time of day.
I am now about to take it easy..... crosswords and coffee....followed by the Birmingham Grand Prix this afternoon.
What do you have on your agenda?

Good morning, Elle!
Great weather here, too, but decidedly autumnal.
I was out earlier on the Nature Trail.
Was very pleasant.
No plans today.
I will watch the Solheim Cup later.
Europe has a mountain to climb!
American women are too good for them.
Juli Inkster has front loaded her singles team with her heavy hitters. Lexi first away.
But, I have been told there is a Dundee band playing in the closing ceremony. "Be Charlotte" they are called.
Apparently they were chosen to take part in the "handing over" ceremony, as the next Solheim Cup takes place in Scotland, at Gleneagles.
I have never heard of the band, but this exposure will put them into the living rooms of over 350 million households, they say!

Hi, Rusty!
I had never heard of "Be Charlotte", either!
The band is apparently fronted by a twenty -year-old woman named Charlotte!
As you so rightly say, with all the ensuing publicity , they all will soon be very famous!
Well, I am having a whale of a time doing crosswords this morning!
I finished the Everyman earlier, and am now doing the ST 4760.
This is a first for me.
Normally, it is much later in the day when we buy our paper, and I don't usually bother with the Sunday Times crosswords.
I am sure there is something much more productive that I could / should be doing....but hey, I don't care!
I "deserve" a rest!
I have worked very hard all week playing games!

Hello, Elle!
I found "Be Charlotte" on YouTube.
Not for me, I'm afraid!
She/they were playing here last weekend at a festival.
My granddaughters were there.
I have tried the ST a few times, though it would be a few years ago.
Definitely an improvement on Everyman!
This is my day of rest from puzzles!

Hi, Rusty!
Actually, I really like the Everyman!
It does vary though in difficulty; I prefer the puzzles that provoke the most thought!
I like the fact that the entire clue is always involved in the answer.
It gives me more satisfaction in solving.
And I enjoyed the ST too -in fact, I thought it somewhat similar to the Everyman?
I shall ensure that we always buy our Sunday paper earlier in the day, in future!
The Grand Prix starts in twenty minutes...are you going to watch?
Or are you too involved elsewhere?
