Hello, Elle!
It is my daughter-in-law's parents.
They feel it is time they were in sheltered housing and that is what this is about.
They have sold their house (the views alone would sell it) and are in the process of moving.
They could see the seals on the sandbanks from their window, and sometimes the dolphins in the water.
They will be much closer to their daughter now and she will get them taken on at our health centre which is light years ahead of the one they had across the water.
My son was the "main man" in the removal and rounded up a mixture of pals, grandchildren etc to help.
Miss La Bamba was a dab hand at ordering folk about!
Went very well!

Hi, Rusty!
Would this be the gentleman who had the recent heart surgery then - the triple bypass?
I think you did mention that a house move was imminent?
He is doing well if recovered enough to participate in moving house.
A pity about the views......but it does sound a sensible move, especially under the circumstances .
And much easier for your daughter -in -law to have her parents living nearer to her, where she can help, and also keep a general eye on them .
I tend to get a tad muddled with your several daughters - in -law.......is this the one that lives the nearest to you? (Miss L-B's and Miss O's mum?)
Now, update on the tennis!
Marin Cilic won his match - a quick break in serve ...and it was all over!
Dimitrov and Lopez playing now.......going with serve .

Hello, Elle!
Yes, he had triple bypass surgery in Edinburgh.
He stayed in the background today.
The house sale was under way before they found his heart problem so it has been hectic for them.
An added bonus to the move is that their daughter is a nurse.
No, this is another daughter-in-law, Miss O'Hara's Mum.
The final move is on Monday, I think.
Thomas Hobson came second today.
He has done a good week's work.
He is targeting the Melbourne Cup next.
"The race that stops a nation!"
It is very breezy here!

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, I see......I was getting confused!
Thomas Hobson did well?
Or was "second" not good for your bet placing?
I missed the match between Dimitrov and Lopez....
My daughter phoned me for a long chat...and the tennis had disappeared from the screen by the time we came off the phone!
I shall see if I can find the results on Google later.
There was a minimal amount of rain at Queens...in West Kensington......play was suspended for a bit.......but the competitors did not leave the courtside .
Strangely, we didn't have any rain here!
Yet we are only 10 miles away.

Hello, Elle!
Thomas Hobson did very well, but not for my bet, no.
Hope you enjoy the "Voice Kids".
My TV is off now.
May explore YouTube, though.
You may find some of these tennis games on Red Button?
No rain here too, but very breezy!

I like the three judges - and the rapport between them is good,
A nice friendly atmosphere.
And all three of them are wonderful with the children.
I am recording "Casualty".
Two programmes to watch - on top of all the tennis ! - are too much!
Yes, tennis does often continue on the Red Button
Sue Barker tells us when that is about to happen!

Good morning, Rusty!
Have you not got up yet?
It is dry (again) and much cooler, but quite pleasant out.
I have been a bit behind times this morning, but am catching up with myself now.
The "Everyman" is all done and dusted!
That is my measuring stick for a Sunday morning's progress!
Tennis later!
What are you up to?

Good day, Elle!
I have been up for a while.
Still very breezy here.
I think there is athletics on EuroSport today.
I know Eilidh Child is running.
I am taking it easy.
Did quite a bit of manual work yesterday and muscles are complaining!
Well done with Everyman.
I do not do a Sunday crossword.

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, take it easy today if you think you overdid it yesterday!
Now.....I have just been searching for these Athletics!
All I can find are the European Team Championship Highlights of Day 3 at Lille, showing at 9.30 pm on Eurosport 2.
Would this be what you were meaning?
I wonder what happened to Days 1 and 2 ?!
I do not have a "programme" as such, but have to scroll through the day's schedule on EuroSport Player.
I find EuroSport confusing as there are so many "repeats".
There is a lot of tennis (re)showing at the moment, but I am up-to-date with that.......just awaiting the Final this afternoon, between Cilic and Lopez.
I think my money is on Cilic (who 'ought' to win) but Lopez has been playing extraordinarily well.

Hello, Elle!
No, these were "live" athletics in the afternoon from Lille.
"Live" Diamond League next weekend from Paris, I think.
Still a fine breezy day here!
