Hello, Elle,
Something odd is going on at BGT (apart from Alesha on stilts),.
Some excellent acts do not seem to be figuring any more.
No sign of the contortionists, or the Chinese gymnastic couple.
Maybe one or two more.
But they have gone from Paddy P's betting list.
My favoured act is still Mr Williams' Welsh choir, Angelica Celtis, and the girl singer from near Dublin, Leah ??????. and the two Old Lads singing!
Yes, next week will be hectic.
The recorder will be worn out!

Hi, Rusty!
I find that I cannot remember all of the acts, so do not know who is missing?
And it was confusing the way various people were shown standing on the stage and being told whether they were to proceed to the next stage or go home.
The names of the acts were not given...so if one didn't recognise who the contestants were, then one was lost.........as I was!
Leah got through, though, didn't she?
I was completely muddled over the various choirs.......but the Missing People 's Choir made it through.
Don't forget that some acts were given the Golden Buzzer, so wouldn't be mentioned this evening, as they have an automatic pass to the Semi finals.
I didn't see Alesha "on stilts"? ( Was she really?)
Perhaps I missed that part, whilst I was "flicking through"!

Hello, Elle,
All the acts are on Paddy P's list.
The Russian contortionists are not, nor are the Chinese husband and wife (I think) who did a great gymnastic act.
These two acts would have been among the favourites to win but they are not there!
Paddy P has the Missing People Choir as hot favourites.
Alesha was invited on stage to "help" in a magic act and had long trousers on.
Very, very, long trousers, which I think concealed stilts.

Hello, again, Elle!
Google you, "Alesha on stilts".
Lots of info there.
Nobody's legs are that long!

Hi, Rusty!
Then I do not know the answer as to why some acts are missing?
More jiggery -pokery?
Yes, I do vaguely recall seeing Alesha up on stage with that magician, but I was fast-forwarding and didn't really see her clearly....I hadn't noticed that she appeared unusually tall, because of the speed at which I was viewing!
I have now looked at her on Google.....
But why ever would she be wearing stilts?
Most strange?

Hello, Elle,
Stilts?
Do you reckon?
I do!
She is a tall leggy lady but it did not look natural!
i will add her to my Twitter page to see if she mentions it!

I don't understand Twitter, Rusty!
But let me know the outcome!
I am now reading "The Lady in the Van" by Alan Bennett.
Remember I said I had recorded the film - Maggie Smith is in it?
"Miss Shepherd" - the lady in the van - lived on Alan Bennett's driveway for fifteen years!

Hello, Elle,
Stilts are mentioned on her Twitter page.
She is also, I noticed, advertising multi-vitamin tablets nowadays.
Maybe they encourage your legs to grow?

Good morning, Rusty!
We had the most tremendous thunderstorm last night!
It absolutely poured down and the thunder and lightning were horrendous.
The dog was terrified and insisted on sleeping with us.
We have not been out as yet....I think we shall have a lazy morning....doing crosswords, and reading the Sunday Times.
Then this afternoon, we shall brave whatever the weather throws at us,.... and go for a long walk!
Much cooler and fresher today.
How about you?

Good morning, Elle!
Much cooler today, thankfully!
Hope it keeps up.
Did you tell me you had bought something at Mountain Warehouse?
I see they have announced record profits and twenty years of uninterrupted growth.
Planning to open more shops.
I like them.
Good products at sensible prices.
I have done my chores for today.
ASDA was very quiet when I was in.
I think today is a holiday.
