Hi, Rusty!
Thank you!
I would have been here "till the cows came home", struggling to get that.
I've still two more parsings to solve, but I shall battle on for a while.
No clouds here.......
It is glorious!
I have ice cream in my freezer.....!

Hello, Pigale!
You know, I don't remember the names of our "climbers"...... next time David comes, I shall ask him and will write the names down so as to tell you!
I'm neither a good nor keen gardener - I like it to look nice, but with minimum effort (on my part)!

I spent the afternoon in Chetenham Hospital getting an IV antibiotic (and some to take home) for a sudden infection. Every last person was friendly and helpful and they were very thorough. Good ols NHS.

Goodness, Ros!
Poor you!
I hope you are feeling better now?
Yes, well done the NHS

A little, thanks elle. But it takes a while. However, paracetamol takes care of the shivers.

My word, you never know, do you? There is a moral, though. Go to GP early if suspicious.

We had a most impressive thunderstorm here this morning

Good morning, Rusty!
We have yet another glorious day here - still warm, albeit a little fresher as yet.
How is it with you?
Did you enjoy the Eugene Diamond League?
I watched it on the computer (not the most comfortable of seating, perched on my swivel chair at my desk!)
How about the Women's 1500m race?
I rather expected Faith Kipyegon to win...but had hoped that Laura might come second.
She did well though, it was all very close.
Helen Obiri was always a strong contender.
I found the commentating rather poor?
It was difficult to hear and thus hard to follow.
I haven't yet watched BGT......

Good morning, Elle!
I don't have a freezer.
It is a nice day here again.
I set my recorder to just record Laura's race.
I thought she ran very well for her first run of the season.
Thought Jenny Simpson would have been closer though.
I did not think much of the stadium though.
Commentary was fine I thought?
I saw BGT.
I think Alesha was on stilts at one point, or, she had strange trousers on.
Other than that, it was not very exciting.
They have told some of the entrants their fate.
The live shows, or home!
Watching all the Diamond League plus BGT would be to much for me, hence I only recorded Laura's race.
I have Tom Dumoulin to cheer home in the Giro d'Italia shortly.
Hope he wins!

Hi, Rusty!
Now I did just the opposite!
I watched ALL of the Diamond League, but will just flick through my recording of BGT - perhaps this evening - and if something good catches my eye / ear, then I shall take a look at it!
I have set the recorder for the Great Manchester Run, though, as we are going out shortly to meet up with our daughter and family at one of our big parks.
I hope you enjoy the Cycling!
Catch up with you later.......

Hi, Rusty!
How was the cycling?
Did your man Tom Dumoulin do well?
We had a great time out in the park!
Now that YB can walk, he was enjoying toddling about and chasing after his brother.
I have finished reading both "Bruach Blend" and Miss P's full length novel.
You really must read "A Shine of Rainbows", Rusty.
I am sure that you will thoroughly enjoy and appreciate it.
It is a lovely story..... all about a young boy who was first fostered and then adopted.
It brought tears to my eyes.
Miss P is indeed to be commended for her understanding.
I got my copy from World of Books for 1p.
(It puts Mr Michener to shame!)

Hello, Elle!
Yes, Tom went from fourth to first on the final day.
First ever Dutchman to win the Giro, I think.
I am pleased for him!
I am not in a reading mood just now but will file away your recommendation for the future.
Miss P had a son of her own who was a writer of childrens' books but I could not come across any.
Michener turned out to be not such a good man at all.

Hey, Rusty!
I have just spent an hour talking to my cousin.......they have had a somewhat dull day with rain.
Yes, make a note of the book's title for when you are in a different head and time space.
I do think that you will enjoy reading it.
I have watched BGT (well, bits of it!)
I liked the first act - the three young girl dancers - but thought the rest fairly mediocre - even though the judges approved most of them.
I don't think I must have seen the selection process for the Semi-finals last year? because I do not remember the choices being made thus.
I was glad to see Tokio get through!
It will be difficult to keep up with the acts though, as they are on twice nightly - too much all at once?
