Hello again, Elle.
I meant to say...
Yesterday there was a ceremony on the Strade Bianche.
Sections of the course are named in honour of the great riders who have competed there.
Yesterday it was the turn of Cancellara.
The bold Fabian unveiled a plaque in his honour.
Nice touch and he was looking well!

Hi, Rusty!
We are home again from our walk - and I am watching the earlier recording that I made of the Athletics.
There are a lot of false starts/ faulty starts with not always a clear distinction between the two. Especially in the women's races.
It is upsetting Denise!
Our rain has died away, and the sun is glimmering now.
I hope the weather improves for you, too, and that you and Miss L-B get out for your bacon rolls!
A funny business about Frankie Fredericks.
I think the payment was from Papa Diack?
But perhaps the fact that Frankie came forward means that it is not as suspicious as might be supposed?
Let us hope so.
That is a nice touch , naming parts of the cycling course after the great racers.
I like that!
Good for Cancellera.
Are you supporting Peter Sagan today?
Right.....back to the Athletics........

Good afternoon, Elle!
Weather improving here too.
I was at Pine Cone with La Bamba and Miss O.
We had a smashing time!
Fingers crossed Frankie's payment was legitimate, but these Olympic committees are notorious for corruption.
Same as FIFA.
Pete Sagan abandoned today.
He was ill during the race.
A Team Sky rider won.
Not a favourite team of mine!
I'm looking forward to see the athletics.
Hope Laura can win!

Hi, Rusty!
I am glad that you had a good day out with TWO granddaughters!
Yes, the Athletics is very exciting, isn't it?
It was great to see Andrew Pozzi get a Gold medal!
Hopefully, we have many more coming......
Richard Kilty coming up soon.......
And roll on , Laura!
When all this has finished for the day, I have "The Voice : UK" to watch!
I have never watched so much TV all at once!
Have you checked in on the Osprey nest ?
I looked in the other day, and there was a man up a tree being asked if he were "stuck"!

Hello, Elle!
I told you about the man up the tree!
There is a revamped website now.
I find television watching quite tiring.
Goodness knows how some folk watch for hours on end.
Yes, I had a great day out with the girls.
They are great company!

Hey, Rusty!
Wow!
Well done, Laura!
A gold medal in the 1500m - and breaking Kelly Holmes' British record to boot!
And she insisted on doing a lap of honour, bearing our flag, despite the misery guts of an official who tried to prevent her from doing it.
Good for her!
Let us hope she makes it a double with the 3000m tomorrow!!
Yes, you did tell me about a man setting up new cameras on the osprey site - but I was just amused by the guy being if he were "stuck" up there!
I agree with you about its being tiring watching television, but there are times like this when I am willing to suffer for the cause!
I am having a great time!

Good evening, Elle!
i know people who watch TV every single evening for hours on end.
Must have some stamina!
No more for me tonight!
Laura was super!
Far too good for the rest of the field.
I am very pleased for her.
Did you see the official at the edge of the track behind the start line?
He is 7ft tall if he is an inch!
Laura was too quick for the lady official who tried to stop her!
You have to shift to keep up with these Milnathort girls!
I like your "misery guts" phrase!

Hi, Rusty!
And well done, Richard Kilty, for his Gold medal in the 60m.
A pity Andrew Robertson was disqualified for a false start.
And I don't know what happened to Theo Etienne as he did so well in the heats and Semi Finals.
We could potentially have had a British 1, 2, and 3, but still....... Richard Kilty came through with flying colours to defend his title.
I am pleased for him.
Time to relax now...it has been hard work!!!!!

Hello, Elle!
That's good results this evening.
You better have an early night in preparation for tomorrow's viewing!
Share a shortie biscuit with Mr Jingles for your supper.
Have you attempted your crossword today?

Hi, Rusty!
Yes, it was good day of sport.
And the BBC did us proud for change - we seemed to watch all the events in their entirety.....no "rushing" us through at breakneck speed this time!
Tomorrow the programme doesn't begin till 2.30pm.
So we shall most probably have a leisurely start to the day and then take the dog out about elevenish for a couple of hours or so, returning in time for the start of the Athletics transmission.
A lazy day!
Yes, I did both the Jumbo GK and the 15 x 15.
A few remaining to parse in the latter, though.
How did you find it?
