Hello, Elle!
I thought you meant Jo Konta!
What a silly I am!
Yes, i did think Tsonga looked a bit different, but as I only dip in and out of tennis, I do not know the players as well as you.
No, I have never heard of anyone saying, "I tripped and fell heavily, and scathed my knee".
Even when I type "scathe", it has a red underlining, because my Chromebook does not like the spelling!
Must be quite a few words like that.
We have mentioned "kempt" and "unkempt" before.
And your tree feller is coming tomorrow?
Good!
That is good your cousin is to the fore.
Miss AOW had her friends up for tea today.
She has me scheduled for a coffee on Saturday!

Hi, Rusty!
That is good that you are going for coffee on Saturday with your granddaughter.
She will be very proud and excited to show you her flat, now that she has moved in.
It will look very different when "occupied"!
Have you come to a decision about a house -warming present?
Did you speak to your son to see if he had any ideas?
The tree feller - double meaning here! - is also going to lop down some trees in our neighbour's garden (by order of said neighbour's daughter!)
This will be good for us, too, as a couple of his trees are perilously near our house, and one of them takes a lot of light from our nearest rear bedroom.
I have quite a busy week coming up.....
especially as I have tennis every day, as well!
I shall set the recorder for that, though, as I may well be out .

Hello, Elle!
I have suggested a microwave, but she may have one, so...
I am going to purchase an ASDA voucher for her.
They have a large range of kitchen stuff and vacuums cleaners etc.
I think that is best rather than me taking off at a tangent and purchasing an unwanted item.
That is good that the feller is going to tackle the neighbour's trees, too.
Now, Elle, this tennis every day?
Are BBC showing the Aussie Open every day?
Red Button?
I did not know that.
A good idea though.

Hi, Rusty!
I think a voucher sounds an excellent idea......because even if Miss ATW does want a microwave , there are so many different models, with so many varying functions.
It would be hard to choose for someone else, I think.
Now, this "tennis every day" is very basic stuff!
Only about an hour of Highlights!
But it is better than nothing.......so you will forgive my excitement!
No, I don't think it will run to the Red Button treatment!
It'll be a "take it or leave it" showing!
We are forecast freezing fog in the morning!
Already everywhere is white.....no fog as yet.......

Good day, Elle!
Lovely weather here, but a bit cold.
Do you have fog?
I see there are flights cancelled in the London area.
Well, your tennis highlights will be something to look forward to.
Wonder when Jo Konta plays next?
Must cheer her against Serena!
How is your tree feller getting on?

Good afternoon, Rusty!
Here it is very cold , very icy and yes, somewhat foggy!
It was not very pleasant out in the early morning.
The one plus was the firm ground!
I hadn't realised that the fog abounded though....not to the extent that flights were cancelled?
The tree man has just left!
He seems to be a very nice man and his two man crew were helpful and efficient, too.
Our plum tree is no longer!
And a lot of next door's trees are down or pruned.
The clearing up is impressive!
I have checked the tennis times...only 45 minutes of broadcasting!!!

Hello, Elle!
Well done with the tree fellers, or was it three fellers?
They seem to have done well by you and your neighbour!
There is tennis on BBC Radio 5 too, but not as appealing as watching it.
I am not long home from a walk.
Everyone I met seems to be in a great mood!
I am sure it is our nice weather playing a big part in that.
Time to tackle the crossword!

Hey, Rusty!
How about "three tree fellers"?
We could make a tongue twister out of it!
It is still rather foggy here....I haven't been out walking again, as I'm not desirous of breathing in all the "mucky" air!
The dog has been out inspecting the new look of the garden!
So she has had a good run around.
I actually finished both the Times QC and the 15 x15 this morning!
Were they easier today?
I couldn't fully parse 8d though?
I got "mele (e)", but couldn't explain "bourn"?

Mick and Pat were walking through Dublin when they saw a sign reading "Tree fellers wanted". Mick says to Pat "What a pity Seamus isn't with us."
