Now that Saga has a "proper" cryptic crossword again, it's back to hard work. Annoyingly (since the clue has my name in it!) I can't get 11a "Singer Derek has endless desire for port". I've got C - - - - -U - -, and with the singer connection I so want it to be "coloratura" - but there's not enough spaces. It would help to get 5d "Roast meat with a good man" -
A - - - - - (there's got to be a "st (saint)" there somewhere surely ..? And 7d "Mountain cat returning, after a fruit", for which I've only got - E - - - - - T

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks, both, for giving the answers and also prompting me to "ginger up" my presentation on the forum. And .... there was a saint - which is (as always) obvious when you see it. Too introverted, I guess, to see "Bo" in the Derek reference!
