Most clue answers do not occupy all of the space
available. Corrections to single letter misprints in the definition part of each clue describe how to complete the grid.

10a Bear up river caught by one local, extremely backward (7) UN????T
The clue answer may be 6 or 7 letters ... am thinking defn may be Tear ( not bear)

12a Port's interior hotel finished first (6) so clue answer may be 5 or 6 letters . Defn possibly po E t , letters I have are I?EA?H

44a A short green awful frock for Morag. (6) clue answer may be 5 or 6 letters ... starts with N , ends with R possibly.
Grateful for any help
