Take r out of creases and you have a double definition clue. It needs a letter entered in the grid. Answer begins with l

20d add H to slot for definition. wordplay is perform 2 letters + last letter of in + 3 letter word/abbreviation for national

It also needs the same letter added when entered into the grid.

Do you have any idea of the theme? It helps with the letters that need to be the different words. It would give you a big BREAK
