I have ???T??EST. I can see S (son) & the deinition

Itsme, this is one where you have to put the theme word first to then get the other two words.

Hi farr, since teenieleek hasn't yet seen your post. Remember the preamble; "1 of the clued lights in ttranslation". If you look at 32a the connection with the title should be apparent. Hope this helps but if not please post again.

Perhaps because I live in Canada I'm missing something here. An example of my blank mind is 30a for which I have PANC?LLA? Should I know French?
