Hi Kilgore Trout and bernie thank you for being so helpful - as usual once I see the answer it's so simple. Thanks once again.

just went to put the answer in and I noticed I had mispelt one of the answers giving letters to my problem which made the incomplete answer ?c?o?N?a?i?i?y with the upper case N being the misspelling. My apologies and I thnk also the reason I couldn't find the answer in crossword clue solver. Again grateful thanks to those who replied.
