Over on 15squared the Indy solvers are complaining this clue being "too obscure" as an answer
"Jazzman understanding fast tempo". (6)
Really? Obscure? Surely not.

Stan Kenton was American. I've just been listening to his "Opus In Chartreuse" with a tenor solo from Richie Kamuka - gorgeous!
