Thanks to all for your help. Finally got no. 29, with your help! Think I have finished now. Isn't this a wonderful quiz??? Pity only twice a year.

Are there any other similar charity quizzes as good as this?

Monty.

It is a fabulous quiz, yes - but the real pity is that on this site it seems necessary to solve it with ages to go.

Plenty of excellent Charity Quizzes out there ( I do about 20 per month), some lighter and some very tough indeed, try AB and others for listings or Google Charity Quizzes.

93 Competition where you've the urge om and run before a gale 3,3,5,4 I'm sure I've got the correct answer but, apart from the first word I can't work out why the last 3,5,4 are correct.
Also, like everyone else I'm stuck on 99!

mjk- if you have Chambers, look up the third word of your answer.

99. Putt-ing, think of this in terms of golf and what you'd play on. Alternatively, look up lists of fruits with nine letters.

Thank you Lady Bee, since my last post I managed to find answers to 75 and 99, however these additional clues will be a huge help in allowing me to solve the others.
