94. Lots of different words can imply anagram in these cryptic quizzes and shred is one of them so follow the instruction and add two letters that can suggest an egg shape.

17. Girl's name and also a fruit. Begins with a letter that suggests nothing.

51. Kind of soup containing a battle from the first world war

83. Four letter fish + 3 letter word for allowed and the whole is similar to a crumpet.

Thanks Lady Bee for your help. Now got nos. 17, 51 and 83 but not quite there with 94? Any further clues please? One other I am stuck on at the moment is no.11: a racer north of the border gets a slice of beef (6). Looking through earlier clues I think there was a suggestion but couldn't work it out. Have you any clues for this one please? Thanks.

94. Shred 'better' and add the letter (twice) that resembles an egg shape to give a vegetable or salad ingredient.

11. A Scottish word for a slice of beef.

Thanks again Lady Bee. I actually thought the answer to no. 94 was what you suggested but couldn't see why? Now I know! Also now got no.11 and see the connection with the word "racer". That's all for now thanks. Still have several more to do but plenty time yet but if I need any more help, I know where to find it!

Look up abbreviations for each year and you will get it. Add Spanish word for nothing. I struggled with this one.

Can anybody help me with these last few teasers.
No 71 have looked at other threads. Has Hastings something to do with fruit and veg or am I on the wrong track?
No7 and 76. Have not seen threads for these so maybe obvious but not for me. Any help welcome. Thanks
