Nocando: for no. 11, I have an anagram of a ARACER which is The name of a Scottish company selling meat; whether this is correct or not I don't know?! Can you please help me nos. 86 and 87 which I get the same answers for, one being plural. Thanks and well done completing the quiz. I have 15 to go!

haeremai -
should you really be giving out clues when you are off the mark yourself?

Haeremai18.
You need to be thinking of a different word for a racer. Think about sports races.

Thought we were all trying to help each other out. I may or not be right but just wanted to put across my idea.

Thanks Betty. Will think about this. With the reference to "north of the border", does this refer particularly to races in Scotland, please?

Thank you to everyone who helped earlier. I don't think I am getting on as good as you all. Help with the following would be appreciated - then I will have completed the first page !!
15. Island spirit comes from this fruit.(5) ( have seen earlier clues and they have not helped)
27. Ask for money to clean up (6)
28 Eaten by educated person during a dance (3,4)
29 Expression of admiration at place of worship - although it's a mess! (9). I know this ends in A - CH but can't find a porridge with this ending to its name. Thanks

Hello Winnie, nice to hear from you. Not sure if I should give clues as told off earlier on but here goes for a couple of the questions. No.27 what do you mop things up with? and No. 29 a 6 letter word for admiration + A + CH = a word for porridge. Hope this helps.
