Hi As you know Im a few miles above the wall but my first parish (1965) was Wallsend . In a little cluster of streets the outline of the fort was picked out in blue cobbles. Now there a viewing tower. I met a couple several years ago who told me that they lived ON the wall - which was true. The older parts of their house were incorporated into the bottom courses of a hidden bit of Wall. I wonder which bit HC67 climbed over? And where were the centurions Skiving no doubt.
(Poor old Sunderland Pray for them)
Cheers Thea

Evening rev,
Yes, there seem to be lots of local buildings that use roughly dressed blocks of sandstone where the wall is conspicuous by its absence.

Poor old Sunderland - please include fieryjack in your invocations to the Almighty.

Right now we'd take help from either end of the spectrum.

A couple of swigs of Advocaat might do the trick; just watch your total points snowball.

According to http://www.aurora-service.eu/aurora-forecast/ the Northern Lights should be visible in the North tonight . Too much cloud and light pollution here in the city , but Thea should have a good chance out in the sticks.

I expect ginge and fieryjack may see something as well.
