So ... it's back! Is anyone out there attempting the March Saga Cryptic Challenge? If so, I'll post some cries for help.

Those of us without the crossword can still help if you post the clues, letter count and any crossers.

True! I never really think of solving in a vacuum. What would help me to complete this would be the answer to "Yucca - once used to make aprons", for which I've got A-A-U ---D-E" If I can solve that, the other two remaining unsolved ones should drop into place.

I find it hard to make out the letters but if it's two words there is a yucca called Adam's needle which could have" been used to make aprons" in the garden of Eden?

If anyone is still on this thread, can I ask if you have completed the £100 prize crossword in same mag? I am baffled by 14a. Sailing ship's rattling sounds. 4 letters. I have P?N?

Pink? A pink is a sailing ship and if a car's engine pinks it makes rattling sounds?
