Hints- help? Please!

Thanks crackabilly. And sorry but I can't help with 3,5or 10. A bit of a slow slog,this.

I have only started doing the EV in the last few weeks and was beginning to think that the puzzle was very easy. Until now.
I think the answer to 3d a 6 letter word for sell and ends in ET ,oranges being the additional word.

I'm not getting anywhere here. I'm trying kilgore trout's method of writing out all the possible initial letters and hoping words jump out. All I can possibly see is "change" as the first word of the information needed. Is that correct?

Cloverjo your first word is correct. Try to get the final word (four letters). Also try an anagram of the title for another hint.
