I'm stuck on three. 10ac Division of a cloven hoof. (5) I've got C?O?? 8d Officially certified copy of a court order etc (7) I've got E???A?T so it looks like EXTRACT but that doesn't help for 10ac. Finally, 18d Things that are better or bigger than usual (7) I've got B?E?E?S. Any thoughts, anybody?

I think 10a. is CL:OOT and 8d. is ESTREAT

Thanks brendan, trevor & rusty. My wordfinder failed to find ESTREAT and the other answers are plausible, so I'll research a bit more. Cheers, Andy
