I had good news & bad news yesterday. I won a small premium bond! But alas I was told I have an 18 week wait before I see the spinal surgeon. I'm been given numerous pain killer tablets but none seem to help much. 18 weeks seems such a long wait when I first saw a specialist in September who sent me for a MRI scan but then the result got lost for a month which has caused it to be delayed. Such is life!

That is such a long wait redcoral.
I feel that as the hospital inconvenienced you by a month due to the result of the scan going astray, they could, at least , deduct a month off the waiting time. Might be worth getting your own doctor to contact the hospital in this respect.

Poor you Redcoral. I agree with Jazzy too. There's no harm in trying. Sometimes it's worth making a bit of a fuss. Good luck. x
