31d looks like duende (demon) but can't fully parse?
due = proper but the rest????

I am having trouble understanding PEENGE for 4d.

teenage - replace the t with p and A is the extra letter

I have a completed grid and the perimeter message. I understand the first part of it but am baffled by the second part. I don't understand how you can do what it says.
