24d, "Upset at most awkward situation" (4) ?p?t
I have gone with "spot" but am not at all convinced of my parse.
A "spot is an awkward situaton.
Upset at most? To me, "at most" would be "top" not "tops".
And an upset can be a "spat".
What am I not seeing?!

The online dictionary shows "tops" - at the most, so spot looks Ok to me
