Not having my best week with X words. So help again will be much appreciated.

Musical furniture (5)

C ? A ? R

Can only assume it is 'CHAIR'
But I cannot find any reference of it being a musical.
I know 'HAIR' is a musical. But there is no indicator for the 'C'

Please put me out of my misery : )

Musical chairs.

Hi Bernie, I had thought of that.
But chairs is plural.
Perhaps just a bad clue by the setter.

Ah, but when there are only two people left, it becomes a musical chair! ;-)
