It is very rare for me to find errors in crosswords, so I may be wrong, but here goes:
7D - narrow passageway (5). The correct answer is, apparently, ALLAY
20D - diminish or end (fears) (5). The correct answer is, apparently, ALLEY
Shouldn't they be the other way round?

I've got the same answers as you, Kenyatta. What do you mean by " the correct answer apparently is....?

Sorry, Kenyetta that came across wrongly - Imeant to say that passage way= alley and diminish/end fears= allay - which I presumed was what you'd put yourself.

Usually, when I have completed the crossword on my iPad, it then gives me a 'time taken', if I have everything correct. If I haven't, it asks me if I want to see the errors, which I normally do.
On this occasion, my errors were given as 7D and 20D, with the 'apparent' correct answers which I gave in my original post.
All I am trying to do is allay my fears that I am being taken down a dark alley!

Let's assume they were misprints!

I've been doing the concise xword for ages and the only other error I remember was when the clue was the same as the solution ! I just wonder if most of the setting is computer generated?
