MOSS is the best for your letters but there are more possible solutions like: ALOE SEED REED or ALGA

I agree with alga but not the others.
Surely aloes and reeds are flowering plants.

I did say that it was the last one in...and I'm sure the letters I had are correct - ' moss' is the only answer that fits.
