You have mostly beaten me today, jolan - but thanks very much anyway. My thoughts, for what they're worth, are:
1 I toyed with TAXI or AXIS, but couldn't make either work.
2 ?
3 Some sort of SPARROW; probably TREE
4 TENEBRIOUS (subtractive anagram)
5 ?

1. Faithful old part-time Triple Alliance (4) - leal.

2. Oh dear! Don’t close both concert halls (4) - odea.

3. Flyer made out of coffee box and string (4,7) - java sparrow.

4. It’s dark and labour-intensive work without an anvil (10) - enterobius? (i'm sure this is wrong. it's a subtractive anagram but i can't find one to match the definition).

5. They revive some swimmers with sex appeal and leave leader. Some others are placed outside (8,5) - smelling salts.

i think #2 is my favourite (if i read the clue in a sightly camp voice), good start to 2015 Jolan. thank you.

Late checking in:

I had

ODEA
and TREE SPARROW (I know there is a coffee tree) but
I see AB has offered Java which I think is the correct solution.

I wasn't convinced about the plural "odea", but it is given here:

PS before I leave the room, I spotted the subtractive anagram, but all I came up with was the same as trevor, :enterobius

I had a surprise visitor so I didn't have time to do any more.
Just #4 TENEBRIOUS (apparently it can be spelt without the I )

To be perfectly honest I don't think I would have got any of the others, however much time I'd got!
