My clue parses thus: AN(TH)ONY MOU S ('wearing' is containment indicator)

Hi claxbyp without wishing to fall out I know wearing is a "container" but normally with what is being worn on the outside! and that is why I commented as such. After much deliberation I decided it read wrongly which "spoilt" an otherwise exceptionally good clue.
I think the vast majority of contributors are extremely adept at parsing the entered clues and I for 1 would ask ( as I have done so in the past) if I failed to do so and your inference that I am incapable is contemptable and brings back memories of (a) previous contributor(s), a relation perhaps!

Nlce one Les , loved the prize ginge and ta for the mention.I take it you're not a fan of the soulless chain either.

Oh dear, ginge, what a distressing outburst, tonight of all nights. Your comments in your summing up confused me so I was just trying to explain how I had put the clue together for everybody. I think Clueless is too clever for me so perhaps I'll just have ago at Peer Review from now on.

Claxbyp i fail to see the relevance of the date in whoever's calendar you use but please feel free to contribute to either Clueless or Peer Review as you deem fit. If you'll permit me; when/if you next host perhaps "chameleon" might take your fancy.
