Got my 7th clash - now to look what to loop

Thank you, don. Sorry I can't help you in return. I've no idea what's going on. I have 7 clashes, but can't make any sense of the letters or see anything to draw loops round.

put the 14 letters into chambers word wizard.

for loops look above the shorter shaded word

Despite all hints the loops are proving elusive to say the least. I have done as Kilgore Trout has suggested but still cannot see anything and the only pairs I can see are four of the unclued answers. . Also am I right in thinking that the unchecked letter in 35 down is E not U?

Yes on the "E"

The 7 clashes result in 7 letter pairs being removed from the grid. Those 7 letter pairs appear elsewhere in the grid, in adjacent cells (all above the vertical shaded word). Draw 7 loops (or ellipses) that each encircle one letter pair.

If you consider the phrase that's removed from the grid, looking at a photo of the first part of the second word will suggest what you're drawing.
